Between 3D printing, copper, and experimental fashion: Giulia Camolese at FashionTEX Makerspace 2026 in Riga

Giulia, a fashion design student at the Amsterdam Fashion Academy, is one of two students from her institution participating in the international FashionTEX Makerspace 2026 in Riga.

In Riga, Giulia is further developing her project, “Elastic Space.” Her work includes creating a 3D-printed mask and laser-cutting structural elements for her dress out of copper.

Her project impressively demonstrates how fashion, technology, and experimental materials can be combined. At the FashionTEX Makerspace, Giulia utilizes the available technical resources to refine her designs and explore new forms of digital and physical creation.
