Makerspace Planning Meeting in Schneeberg – Creative Minds Get Ready

Exciting things are happening this September in Schneeberg: As part of the FashionTEX project, a innovative makerspace is coming to life, bringing together experts and fashion design students to collaborate on forward-thinking ideas.

During another initial planning meeting among our partners, key foundations were laid. The workshop schedule and overall structure were developed, suitable experts were assigned to specific topics, and responsibilities within the organizing team were clarified. Who handles the tech? Who manages materials or communication? – These questions were discussed and assigned.

A special highlight of the meeting was the tour of the makerspace facilities. Our partners were impressed by the creative potential the space offers, providing the perfect environment for hands-on experimentation and learning.

The makerspace within the FashionTEX framework promises exciting insights, innovative collaboration, and a vibrant exchange between practical expertise and design education. We’re looking forward to share this space with the students our partner universities this fall!
