Experimental Fashion and Digital Innovation – Leticija Orlova at FashionTEX Makerspace 2026
Leticija Orlova is currently in her fourth year of a Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design at the Art Academy of Latvia.
In her creative work, Leticija pursues an experimental approach and engages deeply with innovative methods of fashion development. She is particularly fascinated by pattern construction and digital design processes. Working with CLO3D software has opened up new creative possibilities for her, allowing her to develop ideas more efficiently and execute her designs with precision.
For her current collection, Leticija is again strategically using digital tools to develop individual designs. She has realized that digital fashion design offers not only creative advantages but also makes a significant contribution to sustainability. Developing patterns and prototypes virtually allows errors to be identified and corrected early on, thereby reducing material waste and eliminating unnecessary production steps.
By participating in the FashionTEX Makerspace 2026, Leticija aims to deepen her knowledge of digital fashion and explore new applications for innovative technologies. She is particularly drawn to the opportunity to gain a more comprehensive understanding of the diverse potential offered by CLO3D and other digital tools, and to push the boundaries of her creativity.
For Leticija, FashionTEX represents the next exciting challenge in her creative journey. With great curiosity and an open mind, she looks forward to gaining new experiences, encountering international perspectives, and further developing her skills within an inspiring creative environment.
The international FashionTEX program creates an inspiring space for creative exchange, interdisciplinary collaboration, and innovative approaches at the intersection of fashion, technology, and design.
