Curiosity, craftsmanship, and international collaboration – Dinis at the FashionTEX Makerspace 2026
Dinis is a second-year fashion design student at the University of Lisbon. Driven by curiosity and creativity, Dinis sees the FashionTEX Makerspace 2026 as the ideal opportunity to collaborate with designers from diverse cultural backgrounds, explore new working methods, and broaden his creative horizons. This international exchange offers him the chance to discover different perspectives on design and further develop his own creative practice.
His design process is deeply rooted in traditional craftsmanship. Every project begins with an in-depth exploration of concepts and materials, alongside experimentation with various design approaches. At the same time, Dinis views modern technologies as a valuable addition to his creative toolkit. They open up new possibilities for taking ideas further, developing innovative processes, and continuously expanding the scope of his design work.
The international FashionTEX program provides the ideal setting for Dinis to combine creativity, artisanal tradition, and technological innovation. He views the collaboration with participants from across Europe as an inspiring process of mutual learning, cultural exchange, and the development of new ideas for the fashion of tomorrow.
The international FashionTEX program creates an inspiring space for creative exchange, interdisciplinary collaboration, and innovative approaches at the intersection of fashion, technology, and design.
FashionTEX is co-financed by the European Union.
