FashionTex Open Day at the University of Zagreb

The Open Day of the FashionTex project was held on June 2, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. in classroom A-105 at the Faculty of Textile Technology, University of Zagreb. The event was attended by both undergraduate and graduate students.

During the Open Day, the goals and scope of the FashionTex project were presented to students of the Faculty of Textile Technology. Attendees received a guide to existing digital fashion tools used in universities that train future fashion designers.

A highlight of the event was a short presentation by Marina Šikić, titled “Digital Skills Needed to Enter the Labour Market – Alumni”. She shared insights from her professional experience working for Adidas, emphasizing the advantages of digital tools in the fashion industry and the growing importance of digital competencies.

Students involved in the FashionTex project also showcased their previous work and experiences. For many, this was their first opportunity to explore the Clo3D software. The introduction to Clo3D sparked strong interest among students, who were eager to learn more about this powerful digital design tool and its applications in the fashion industry.
