Experimental Materials and Innovative Fashion – Michaela Stanová in the International FashionTEX Program

Michaela Stanová is studying Fashion Design at the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague, where she engages intensively with experimental materials and innovative design approaches.

She is currently working on a project from her most recent final semester, in which she explores the three-dimensional effects of fabrics. Her work centers on the investigation of new material structures and the question of how textile surfaces can be reinterpreted through modern techniques.

Michaela is currently developing a jacket made of transparent plastic material, through which she seeks to innovatively recreate the properties and aesthetics of classic fabrics in three dimensions. She finds the intersection of fashion, materials research, and experimental design to be particularly fascinating.

Michaela views her participation in the international FashionTEX program as an inspiring opportunity to further develop her creative ideas, discover new technologies, and exchange insights with young creatives from around the world. She is particularly interested in innovative production methods and the interface between fashion, technology, and material experimentation.

The international FashionTEX project offers a creative space for interdisciplinary collaboration, fresh inspiration, and innovative approaches to the future of fashion.
