AWARD

The European Next Generation Award stands for the visibility of change, the constant transformation of coexistence and thus for the sustainable values of social and cultural coexistence. How do we want to live in a resource-conserving and environmentally friendly way in a globalized world?

The European Next Generation Award is intended to initiate a joint debate on social values in the areas of business, the environment and culture. It is aimed at recognizing entrepreneurial achievements and initiatives that use new ideas to promote sustainable products and technologies for our common future. The award is aimed at young creatives from all over Europe who are changing our lives with their innovations. In 2025, the competition honors European newcomers from the fashion and textile sector who took part in the FashionTEX project.

On the catwalk in the halls of the former tulle factory in Chemnitz, the digital and physical works of the Makerspace students and their development process will be exhibited as a significant part of the FashionTEX Festival. This is where digital designs merge with the finished models on the catwalk. The young designers automatically apply with their design for the European Next Generation Award.

To be selected

The winner of the European Next Generation Award is selected by an international jury consisting of renowned experts, up-and-coming fashion designers and business representatives. The jury members are yet to be announced.
