At the intersection of artificial intelligence and creative fashion design: Dana Hoefner at FashionTEX Makerspace 2026 in Riga

Dana Hoefner, a fashion design student at the Amsterdam Fashion Academy, is participating in the international FashionTEX Makerspace 2026 in Riga.

At the heart of Dana’s work is her project “Criticism of AI,” in which she engages with artificial intelligence from both creative and critical perspectives. During the Makerspace, she utilizes modern digital manufacturing technologies and innovative materials to further develop her ideas and translate them into new design forms.

The FashionTEX Makerspace provides her with a space for experimentation, international collaboration, and the exchange of ideas with young designers and experts from across Europe.
